Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation knob for an automobile that has a flexibility similar to that of a conventional operation knob for an automobile using polyvinyl chloride resin and does not produce an environmental problem or the like. SOLUTION: In this operation knob for the automobile, an operation knob body is made of hard resin and a shell layer for covering the operation knob body is made of soft resin. The shell layer is formed of thermoplastic polyester based elastomer. Preferably, at least part of the shell layer formed of the thermoplastic polyester-based elastomer foams, and hardness of the thermoplastic polyester based elastomer is not higher than Shore hardness 40D.
