Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outboard motor constituted to effectively make the most of an angle of visibility provided in a display device for electrically displaying the state of the outboard motor. SOLUTION: The display device 21 for electrically displaying the state of the outboard motor according to detection results of various kinds of sensors is provided in a tiller handle 5 in a mode of the display surface 27 arranged obliquely upward. The display device 21 is provided on an upper surface 26a of a housing 26 extending in a substantially horizontal direction in the tiller handle 5, in particular.
