Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine control system that prevents suppression due to noise and ensures highly reliable communication. SOLUTION: This engine control system for a vehicle allows two-way communication between a portable unit on the user side and transmitters-receivers on the vehicle side and is equipped with a motor 36 operating with a high-voltage battery 38 as its power source. When communication is conducted between the portable unit 22 on the user side and the transmitters-receivers 19, 19, 20, 21 on the vehicle side, an operation limiting means 32 limits the operation of switching noise generating sources 40, 42, 44 connected to the battery 38.
