Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stable and transparent or translucent gel-like composition which has high transparency and reduced water separation with time passage or by grinding while making the most of use touch and salt resistance characteristic of gellan gum. SOLUTION: The stable and transparent or translucent gel-like composition is obtained by mixing gellan gum with an electrolyte for releasing ammonium ion in combination and has slight water separation by the interaction of the mixing components each other.
