CONVEYOR BELT DEVICE FOR PASSENGER CONVEYOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyor belt device for a passenger conveyor formed by connecting a large number of treads by a roller chain composed of rollers with suitable strength. SOLUTION: The rollers 10 and the tread shaft rollers 14 of the moving roller chain 7 are guided by a tread rail 11. The roller 10 is manufactured corresponding to high load applied when the tread 12 moves along an upper curve part of the tread rail 11. The tread shaft roller 14 is manufactured from a higher strength material than the roller 10 and manufactured corresponding to high load applied when moving along the upper curve part of the tread rail 11 and to load applied by a passenger on the tread 12. Consequently, the roller 10 and the tread shaft roller 14 have suitable strength without having excessive strength to load. Wasteful cost can thereby be eliminated to reduce a manufacturing cost.
