Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impregnation assistant for wood which is almost free from the possibility of environmental contamination and highly pervasive. SOLUTION: The impregnation assistant for wood is composed of a chemical compound obtained by adding 2 to 20 moles of ethylene oxide and 1 to 7 moles of propylene oxide to an 8 to 20C higher alcohol, with a larger addition number of moles of the ethylene oxide than the addition number of moles of the propylene oxide. The higher alcohol used in this invention is particularly not restricted as far as it is an 8 to 20C natural or synthetic higher alcohol. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
