Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a fuel cell with excellent conductivity, and especially, small contact resistance with an electrode, excellent in corrosion resistance and heat resistance. SOLUTION: The separator for the fuel cell is made of a mixture of a conductive carbon material and a polymer material, and is provided with a low-resistance layer at an outermost layer of at least one side of a conductive base material layer, with a sheet resistivity value of the low-resistance layer at a load of 1 MPa of 1/5 or less of that of the conductive base material layer at a load of 1 MPa.
