METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR COMMODITY INFORMATION RETRIEVAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for commodity information retrieval which suppress the load of each electronic shop in provision of commodity information to make effective propaganda by previously excluding provision of unnecessary commodity information to the electronic shop which provides commodity information for commodity information users. SOLUTION: The system is provided with; equipment comprising a database and a filing device wherein times of commodity information collection of individual electronic shops are stored; equipment comprising a database and a filing device wherein retrieval conditions of users and commodity information request dates when users require commodity information are stored; a means for collecting commodity information from individual electronic shops; and equipment comprising a database and a filing device wherein commodity information collected from the electronic shops is held. Further, the system is provided with a means for providing users with estimated times required for retrieval on users' retrieval conditions in accordance with users' retrieval conditions and times of commodity information collection in individual electronic shops and a means for publishing commodity information to users.
