Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wide range photographing method using a plurality of cameras for obtaining a unified wide-range picture having no omitted or overlapped part in the picture, capable of displaying a tracking picture (detailed picture) with regard to an object on which a motion is detected in the wide area picture. SOLUTION: When positioning a plurality of cameras, neighboring cameras are positioned in proximity and inclined inward each other so as to prevent the pictures from having omission in the photographing range. By providing a means for synchronizing release of the shutters of the plurality of cameras, a means for synchronizing data transfer relevant to the pictures input from each camera, and a means for connecting each picture together, pictures having no time lag are connected. Further, by providing a means for detecting overlaps between each picture, a means for eliminating the overlapped part of either one of the pictures, and a means for connecting the pictures together; the pictures are connected while adjusting (correcting) the overlap in each picture corresponding to a varied distance from each camera to the object with regard to each picture having been input in parallel.
