MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR INFORMATION MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for an information medium which makes fewer data errors in high speed recording and reproducing. SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method, when coating and forming a dye recording layer, capable of recording and reproducing information by radiating a laser beam, on a substrate 1 with a center hole, a solvent 5 is delivered by drops on the substrate 1 from a first nozzle 3, the solvent 5 delivered and coated on the substrate 1 is thrown off through rotation driven by a rotating table 2, a dye solution 6 is delivered and coated from a second nozzle 6 in a following process, and the dye solution 6 delivered and coated on the substrate 1 is coated through the rotation driven by the rotating table 2.
