Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy evaluating method for easily evaluating rigidity of a machine tool by measuring an uncut part generated by deflection of a machine system including a tool due to the cutting force when cutting a test piece by the tool. SOLUTION: This method for easily evaluating machine tool rigidity is characterized by evaluating machine rigidity by a value of a measured unshaved quantity by measuring the unshaved quantity when cutting the test piece by using the tool. This test piece is characterized in that a cutting surface has a shape of changing stepwise in the direction for contacting with a cutting blade of the tool.
