POSITION INFORMATION TERMINAL AND WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely store positioning data and to make an external communication device etc., manage them without depending upon a user's operation. SOLUTION: A position information terminal 1 judges whether the terminal is within the initial range by a judgment part 16 from the communication state of a short-distance wireless communication part 15 communicating with an external device 4 by wireless and begins to store the current position information detected by a GPS receiver 13 in a positioning data storage part 17 by the control part 14 when it is judged that the terminal moves out of the initial range. When the position information terminal 1 is moving, the current position information detected by the GPS receiver 13 is stored in the positioning data storage part 17. When the judgment part 16 judges that the position information terminal 1 moves to enter the initial range again, the control part 14 sends the current position information stored in the positioning data storage part 17 to a short-distance wireless communication station 3 to enable the external device 4 to manage the movement path of the position information terminal 1.
