INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD FOR CLINICAL TESTING OF NEW MEDICINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To objectively evaluate a medical institution or a physician who conducts a clinical trial. SOLUTION: When report data about the clinical testing of new medicine are received at least from a medical institution or a physician in charge who conducts the clinical trial of the new medicine, log data about the reception of the report data, including date, are stored in a transaction storage part. Based at least on the log data stored in the transaction storage part and weighting data about evaluation items about a rule of reporting including a schedule of reporting, an evaluation value for the medical institution or physician in charge is calculated and presented. Based on the log data about the reception of the report data for the clinical testing (clinical trial) of the new medicine, it is determined whether an event concerning the schedule of reporting, such as the occurrence of delay, has occurred. Using a parameter corresponding to the event determined, the evaluation value for the physician or medical institution conducting the clinical trial is calculated.
