Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable parallel flow type heat exchanger for providing a sufficient heat exchange quantity by realizing a superior separating state even when using the parallel flow type heat exchanger for either of an evaporator and a condenser. SOLUTION: A plurality of substantially vertically extending flat pipes 3 are arranged between a lower header 2 and an upper header 5 arranged substantially horizontally; a fin 4 is arranged between the adjacent flat pipes 3; a connecting pipe 1 for allowing the inflow of a refrigerant is installed in the longitudinal direction on one end of the lower header 2; and a connecting pipe 6 for allowing the outflow of the refrigerant is installed in the longitudinal direction on one end of the upper header 5. At least one guiding pipe 9 is arranged in the longitudinal direction inside the lower header 2 to improve a separating state of the refrigerant flowing in the lower header 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
