HEAT EXCHANGER FOR HEATING OF VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger for heating a vehicle, having a reduced size, easy in positioning when being fitted and suppressing a resulting increase in cost. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger for heating the vehicle comprises a side plate. The side plate consists of a heat exchanging core portion, a hot water inlet tank arranged on one side of the core portion and having a first hole, a hot water outlet tank arranged on the other side of the core portion and having a second hole having the same shape and size as the first hole, a base having a first abutment portion for abutting on the hot water inlet tank and a second abutment portion for abutting on the hot water outlet tank, a first insertion portion protruded from the first abutment portion in the longitudinal direction and having the same sectional shape and size as the first hole of the hot water inlet tank, and a second insertion portion protruded from the second abutment portion in the longitudinal direction and having the same sectional shape and size as the second hole of the hot water outlet tank. Herein, the size of the first abutment portion in the cross direction of the side plate does not exceed the size of the first insertion portion and the size of the second abutment portion in the cross direction of the side plate does not exceed the size of the second insertion portion.
