Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woody pavement structure for a pedestrian passage, which is prevented from occurrence of defects such as lifting or warping of an edge of a pavement and a joint portion of the pavements if pavement is constructed by laying a woody paving material on a crushed-stone roadbed. SOLUTION: The woody pavement structure consists of a crushed-stone roadbed layer arranged on the ground and a woody pavement layer laid on the crushed-stone roadbed layer. The crushed-stone roadbed layer is formed by mixing crushed stone particles with a cement material, agitating the resultant mixture, and laying the agitated mixture on the ground by a desired thickness. Next the woody pavement layer is formed by kneading wooden chips with a bonding agent to obtain a chip mixture, and laying the chip mixture on the crushed-stone roadbed layer. Further, according to the woody pavement structure, the crushed-stone roadbed layer containing a number of the crushed-stone particles and the cement material covering the crushed-stone particles and bonding the same to each other, has porous permeable properties. The crushed-stone roadbed layer is impregnated with an asphalt emulsion or a water-based resin emulsion. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
