DETECTING SENSOR FOR CUTTER ABRASION OF SHIELD MACHINE, AND DETECTING DEVICE FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detecting sensor for cutter abrasion of a shield machine, which dispenses with a special transmitter and power supply, is simple in structure, low in cost, small in size, and high in detection accuracy (measuring accuracy) and reliability, and to provide a detecting device for the cutter abrasion of the shield machine. SOLUTION: A comb-type pattern of conductive foil is attached to an insulating mandrel 3 held by a cutter head of the shield machine, to thereby form a plurality of abrasion detecting electrodes 4 arranged at predetermined intervals, and a common electrode 5 connecting the same to each other. Then individual conductors 7 and a common conductor 6 are connected to the respective abrasion detecting electrodes 4 and the common electrode 5, and abrasion of the abrasion detecting electrodes 4, taking place in parallel with the abrasion of the insulating mandrel 3 is fetched as an electric variate between the individual conductor 7 connected to the electrode 4 concerned and the common conductor 6.
