SOLUTION: The osteoregulin has a role regulating the homeostasis of bone, adiposis and the calcification of plaque in atherosclerosis. Therefore, in addition to the providing, this invention relates to a screening assay to identify a regulator for osteoregulin activity, and a treatment of mammals having diseases or disorders relating to the osteoregulin activity.
