Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ERα etc., exhibiting a reactivity to anti-estrogen (E) substance different from a wild type ERα. SOLUTION: The ERα etc., exhibits following properties. (a) In an alignment based on the amino acid sequence homology in the amino acids constituting the receptor, one or more amino acids at the positions corresponding to the amino acids represented by the amino acid number 405 in the amino acid sequence No 1 being substituted into amino acids different from the corresponding amino acids in the amino acid sequence of the wild type estrogen receptorα, and the amino acid substitutions imparting the following characteristics. (b) Upon contact with an anti-estrogen substance which inhibits the function of the transcriptional activation region AF2 of the wild type estrogen receptorα but not inhibiting the function of the transcriptional activation region AF1 thereof, being capable of activating the transcription of a gene under the transcriptional regulation by the transcriptional regulation region containing an estrogen response sequence. (c) Upon contact with E, being capable of activating the transcription of a gene under the transcriptional regulation by the transcriptional regulation region containing an estrogen response sequence and the activation not being substantially inhibited by a compound capable of activating the transcription of the gene in the above (b).
