Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device constituted so that toner hardly adheres to a outer wall surface of a toner cartridge, and it and its periphery are restrained from being soiled by the toner. SOLUTION: Even if the toner is carried in a state where it is accumulated in space 101 between a toner cartridge loading chamber 204 and a toner cartridge shutter 140, the toner drops and is stored in a toner storage part 220 before and after the toner cartridge 100 reaches a turning position (position shown in the figure). As a result, the toner hardly adheres to the outer peripheral surface of the shutter 140. Then, the toner accumulated in the space 101 is restrained from scattering inside a laser beam printer 50.
