Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve mass-productivity by acquiring high reliability for a fixing part of each optical element, and miniaturizing an optical isolator and decreasing the cost. SOLUTION: On the optical element surface corresponding to the combination of either one plane including light-transmissive planes of each polarizer, or both planes including the light-transmissive plane of a 45-degree Faraday rotator, or one plane including the light-transmissive plane of at least one polarizer and one plane including the light-transmissive plane of the 45-degree Faraday rotator, a low-melting point glass layer having translucency is deposited by using a sputtering method, and at least two or more polarizer and at least one or more 45-degree Faraday rotators are laminated via the low-melting point glass layer having the translucency, and melted and solidified into one body.
