Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a doctor blade which is excellent in continuous printing characteristics and inexpensive and which is excellent also in workability on the occasion of installation/replacement in a holder. SOLUTION: The doctor blade consists of an edge portion which is constituted of steel or stainless steel and comes into contact with a rotating cylinder, and of a main body portion of which the surface at least is constituted of plastic. The edge portion has a smooth surface of which the surface roughness (Ra) at least on the reverse side in the direction of rotation of the cylinder is 1.0 μm or less. The main body portion has preferably a doctor holder stopper structure and/or a doctor holder cover structure. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
