Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for compensating jitter in received differential data signals. SOLUTION: The method includes the step of reproducing a first clock signal 309 from received differential data signals 308A, 308B. Based upon the received differential data signals and the first clock signal, re-timed differential data signals 312A, 312B are generated. A jitter level 328 in the re-timed differential data signals is detected. A second clock signal 318 is recovered from the re-timed differential data signals. Jitter-compensated differential data signals 316A, 316B are generated based on the re-timed differential data signals, the second clock signal and the detected jitter level. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
