Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand a range in which transmission between an IC card and a reader writer is possible. SOLUTION: This antenna assembly 60 for a R/W50 performs the write and readout of data in relation to a non-contact type IC card 1. The antenna assembly 60 has a loop coil 61 which emits an electromagnetic field, magnetically couples a loop coil 4 and the side of the IC card 1 and transmits data and has a magnetic substance sheet 62 which has been arranged to counter to the major face of an opposite side in relation to a major face opposing the IC card 1 of the loop coil 61. Also, the magnetic substance sheet 62 establishes, in responding to a required transmission range, its relative permeability μ', and a product (Ms × t) of a saturated magnetization amount Ms and a thickness t.
