SEMICONDUCTOR LASER APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor laser apparatus which is capable of functioning as a light emitting source with high color purity when light in a visible range is emitted, and which is preferable when it is used as a light source for a display apparatus. SOLUTION: The semiconductor laser apparatus is adapted such that it comprises a semiconductor crystal element for emitting light, and reflecting resonance sections formed on the front side and on the rear side of the apparatus in the emission direction of the light such that it puts the semiconductor crystal element. In the semiconductor laser apparatus, at least the one reflecting resonance section between those located on the front side and on the rear side is set such that a reference value of an oscillation wavelength in the reflecting resonance section is greater than the wavelength of the light emitted from the semiconductor crystal element.
