Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user using a thick client with a method for transmitting a print job which has a user name preserved therein and allows the user name to be determined by a server. SOLUTION: The user selects one or more native drivers 314 indicating print queues on a server 316. A user interface preserves a destination selected in a data file 310 and its properties and preserves a user name in a document file of the user. A print processor 312 called by a spooler 306 appends the user name to a document name being a control data field. The server 316 receives control data and raw print data from native drivers. The context is user SYSTEM. Thereafter, the server 316 analyzes a document name in control data and analyzes an actual user name in control data and changes the name from SYSTEM to the actual user name. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
