IMAGE FORMING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide satisfactory wear resistance, life and image characteristic in a high-speed image forming method. SOLUTION: In the image forming method by an electrophotographic process in which a photoreceptor is used at a revolving speed of ≥60 rpm, a cylindrical electrophotographic photoreceptor containing a binder resin having a repeating structure represented by formula (1) and an organic photoconductor having a residual deformation volume R of ≤50% in an indentation test represented by expression (2) is used as the above photoreceptor. In the expression (2), Dmaxrepresents a deformation volume at the time of applying a load of 0.02 g to a surface of the organic photoconductor with a triangular pyramidal indentor having a dihedral angle of 80° and a curvature radius of the tip of 0.1 μm, and D0represents a deformation volume which remains when the load is removed.
