DUST REMOVING DEVICE FOR PRINTING OR PROCESSING SHEET MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust removing device capable of continuously capturing and removing foreign matter attached to the surface of a sheet material by contacting with the sheet material during continuous operation of a printer, a processing machine or the like which improves operating ratio and productivity of the printer or processing machine, while reduces maintenance of a roller under continuous operation. SOLUTION: A first roller 2 having a surface of a physical property for capturing and removing a foreign matter is provided in a carrying path for a sheet material 1. The first roller is brought into contact with the sheet material to capture and remove the foreign matter attached to the surface of the sheet. A second roller 3 having a surface of a physical property with adhesion greater than that of the first roller is arranged so as to constantly contact with, or to contact with/separate from the first roller. The second roller is brought into contact with the first roller to capture and remove the foreign matter on the surface of the first roller. The second roller is immersed in a washing fluid in a washing tub 4 and is rotated to wash and remove the foreign matter.
