Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fail-safe control device of a hybrid system that enables one or two of an engine, a first motor generator and a second motor generator working as drive sources to establish limp home when an output abnormality occurs. SOLUTION: The hybrid system comprises a Ravigneaux compound planetary gear row 3 formed by coupling the first motor generator MG1, the engine 1, an output gear 4 and the second motor generator MG2 in order of their rotational speeds. The hybrid system also comprises a drive-source abnormality detection means that detects the output abnormalities of the engine 1, the first motor generator MG1, and the second motor generator MG2 that are the drive sources; and a drive-source fail-safe control means that brakes either of a high brake 16 or a low brake 17 when determined that one or two of the drive sources has the abnormalities, and enables traveling by using at least one drive source in which the output abnormality does not occur.
