Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detection device and a detection method of a chemical agent suitable for using for detection of sarin, soman or the like, wherein specifications are provided such as speed to detect the chemical agent, reduction of a misinformation rate, squeezing of kinds of the chemical agent, and an unmanned continuous monitoring device. SOLUTION: This detection device is constituted of a sample introduction part 1 to take in and heat a sample, an ionization part 2 to ionize the sample from the sample introduction part 1, a mass spectrometric part 3, and a computer 6 to analyze data. When a prescribed signal specific to sarin and soman is recognized by the computer 6, it becomes possible to identify that sample. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
