ARTICLE STORAGE APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article storage apparatus that stores and carries a variety of articles. SOLUTION: The apparatus is equipped with conveyance parts 11 each provided with a couple of independent conveyors 85 side by side horizontally in such a style that their article conveying directions are parallel to each other, a rack 10 which store articles over top surfaces of mutually adjacent conveyors 85 between conveyance parts 11 by constituting a plurality of article storage shelves side by side so that the conveyance parts 11 can shift horizontally in positions, and a coupling means 92 which couples the respective conveyors 85 constituting the rack 10 with each other. Consequently, the respective conveyance parts 11 are positioned closely to obtain a rack 10 which stores and convey relatively small-sized articles and also separated to obtain a rack 10 which stores and convey relatively large-sized articles.
