SOLUTION: The system and the method include a process (610) for allowing a member to generate a current vibration response by exciting the member and a process (620) for detecting the current vibration response. Then, they include a process (630) for comparing the current vibration response with a plurality of prerecorded vibration responses of the member and further a process for estimating pressure applied to the member, based on the comparison of the current vibration response and the plurality of prerecorded vibration responses.
