SOLUTION: The air-conditioner for the vehicle includes a compressor of variable displacement type whose discharge capacity is controllable in conformity to the control signal given externally, in which the discharge capacity of the compressor is controlled on the basis of the higher one of the front seat evaporator temperature and the rear seat evaporator temperature and the target value of evaporator temperature.
