HARD FIBER SHEET AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply manufacture a highly strong hard fiber sheet by recycling scraps of a fiber product in particular. SOLUTION: A mixed fiber MF obtained by mixing a normal fiber with a low melting point fiber is scattered onto a support sheet N1to form a mat MT, and then a support sheet N2is overlapped on the mat MT. This allows the mat MT, even if a recycled fiber with a shorter fiber length is used, to be supported in reinforcement by the support sheets N1, N2, to be strong enough to be handled easier even before a heat press process. The laminated mat LMT, thus obtained, is heated and pressurized to provide a hard fiber sheet FS. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
