FERRULE OF WALKING STICK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking stick of which the ferrule portion in the lower end part is made firm to improve the safety. SOLUTION: The stick has a ferrule metal fitting 13 which has a tip metal fitting 11 embedded integrally in the lower side thereof and a shaft body 12, a lower pipe 41 of the stick body wherein the shaft body is embedded and a cover body 14 which has a slot 16 in the longitudinal direction and a terrace 15 being provided at the lower end of the slot and having a width almost equal to or larger than the wall thickness of the lower pipe. The cover body 14 has a hole 17 being formed below the terrace 15 and having a smaller diameter than that of the slot 16. The cover body 14, which covers the embedded joining portions of the shaft body 12 and the lower pipe 41 as a whole and is provided integrally therewith so that these members may not rotate, is made of a synthetic resin or a synthetic rubber.
