Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus in which exposure control can be carried out exactly when a still picture is imaged. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus can image a still picture and a control circuit 107 calculates light exposure under current exposure control when a shutter 110 is depressed. Light exposure for still picture imaging is then determined based on calculation results obtained when a dynamic picture is imaged and exposure control is performed by a mechanical shutter control circuit 108 and an imaging element drive circuit 109. Consequently, exposure control can be carried out exactly when a still picture is imaged and a high definition still picture can be imaged. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
