METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FUNCTIONAL FILM WITH PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a functional film with a pressure-sensitive adhesive which has a pressure-sensitive adhesive laminated to the overall width of the functional film. SOLUTION: The functional film 20 (width b) is laminated on a 1st process film 11 (width a), wherein a>b. A pressure-sensitive layer 31 (width d) is separately formed on a 2nd process film 12 (width c), wherein c≥d and a≥d>b; and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 31 has larger adhesive strength to the 1st process film 11 than to the 2nd process film 12. When the functional film 20 laminated on the 1st process film 11 and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 31 formed on the 2nd process film 12 are stuck together, an exposed surface of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 31 is pressurized so as to come in contact with the 1st process film 11. Then the 1st process film 11 is peeled off the functional film 20. Thus, the functional film 20 having the pressure-sensitive adhesive 32 stuck on one surface is obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
