CASING FOR ENGINE DRIVE TYPE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise reducing structure not reducing the internal volume of rainwater or the like by improving the drain of the rainwater in a casing for an engine drive type air conditioning system. SOLUTION: In a structure of the casing for the engine drive type air conditioning system, a heat exchanger chamber B is provided on a machine chamber A comprising a bottom frame 10, struts 20 raised from four corners of the bottom frame 10, and an upper part frame 30 supported on the struts 20. Rectangular upper part horizontal members 31 and 34 forming the upper part frame 30 have groove shaped parts 32 and 35. Rainwater or the like falling on a shelf board 38 provided above the groove shaped parts 32 and 35 goes into each groove shaped part, it falls into hollow parts 21 formed in the struts from both ends of the groove shaped parts, and is discharged from lower ends. A cavity 13a is formed throughout a whole length in one of horizontal members 11 and 13 of the bottom frame, and first and second suction openings 13b and 13c are formed in its upper side and lower side. Outside air for engine combustion and cooling is led into the machine chamber via an expansion type silencer formed of the cavity 13a and the first and second suction openings 13b and 13c.
