MATERIAL CORRECTING DEVICE AND METHOD USED FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material correcting device which enables reduction of production cost, improvement in productivity and standardization of work due to easy adjustment of a gap between upper and lower workrolls and removes internal deflection of a material even when the number of the workrolls to be set is smaller than in a conventional method and further improves flatness after curling habit of the material is removed, and also to provide a method used for the same. SOLUTION: The material correcting device is configured to adjust a gap between the lower workroll 68 and the upper workroll 70 on the inlet side and a gap between the lower workroll 66 and the upper workroll 60 on the exit side respectively and independently in a material correcting device for a press machine which supplies the material to the press machine while correcting curling habit of the material re-wound from an uncoiler device.
