Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct methanol fuel cell capable of achieving reduction in size by simplifying the configuration of a heat exchanger for condensing vapor generated. SOLUTION: There are provided a fuel cell 5 having a configuration in which an electrolyte film 11 is sandwiched between an anode 7 and a cathode 9, a fuel supply means for supplying methanol to the anode 7, an air supply means for supplying air to the cathode 9, and a heat exchanger 31 for condensing gas exhausted from the cathode 9. The air supplied to the cathode 9 by the air supply means is heated by the heat exchanger 31, and the methanol supplied to the anode 7 by the fuel supply means is heated by a heat exchanger 31A.
