Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase safety by preventing flammable cooling medium leaked to a semi-sealed space being the storage container of articles such as a vending machine from being ignited. SOLUTION: An electromagnetic valve 6A arranged before a cooling unit 3 is closed in a fixed time, and an electromagnetic valve 6B arranged after the cooling unit 3 is opened when switching from cooling to heating to operate a compressor 4. Then, a cooling medium in the cooling unit 3 is pumped-down, and the cooling medium in the cooling unit 3 is reduced. Therefore, even when the cooling medium leaks to a housing chamber 1, the housing chamber 1 can be prevented from reaching the combustible range concentration of the flammable cooling medium. Thus, it is possible to safely carry out a heating operation by preventing the cooling medium from being ignited with the heating device 8 as an ignition source. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
