SOLUTION: The scan velocity of a read light by a read light scan means 20, in the longitudinal direction (sub-scan direction) of the stripe electrode, for the solid detector 10, is changed by a pixel density changing means 70, according to the pixel density to be read, while fixing a sampling rate of an image signal by an image signal acquiring means 60.
