INFORMATION PROVIDING SYSTEM AND INFORMATION PROVIDING DEVICE FOR MOVING OBJECT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system for a moving object which acquires information on the purpose of route movement of a user, and provides information suited in particular for the purpose of movement of the user. SOLUTION: This information providing system is formed so as to provide information according to the position of the user. The information providing system is provided with a route classification determination means for determining a classification of a route on which the user moves at present, a providing information selecting means for selecting information to be provided for the user based on the route classification determined by the route classification determination means, and a providing information indicating means for indicating providing information selected by the providing information selecting means to the user. Consequently, more appropriate information can be provided for the user, according to the purpose of the movement of the user. Not only the user has a merit of enhancing his or her convenience, but also an information provider on the other side has a merit of being able to send more appropriate information to the user, and heighten a propaganda effect more.
