WIRE ROPE FIXING MATERIAL AND SLOPE STABILITY METHOD USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire rope fixing material which enables slope land in danger of collapse to be constructed so as to have a strength based on a design standard, which attaches importance to surrounding landscapes, and which can be entirely recycled in terms of conservation of resources. SOLUTION: U-shaped grooves 4, in which a cross-sectional shape of the wire rope W is housed, are provided on surfaces where fixing brackets 2 and 2 composed of a set of two pieces of the same shape overlap each other, in such a manner as to be arranged in a crossed state. A bottom of the U-shaped groove 4 is formed in an up-and-down shape 5 which undergoes the fitting of a spiral shape formed in the direction of elongation of the pulled, aligned and twisted wire rope W. When the fixing brackets 2 and 2 are coupled together by means of a bolt and a nut in a state wherein the wire rope W is inserted into each of the U-shaped grooves 4, the wire rope W can be fixed without being pressed, so as to be installed on the whole of a slope in parallel crosses.
