SOLUTION: The subject method for producing the agent for suppressing the generation of vegetable vermin contains a means to mix a brewed vinegar with green perilla leaves, stir the mixture to form a jam-like material and filter the material to extract a mixed stock liquid of the brewed vinegar and the green perilla leaves and a means to dilute the mixed stock liquid obtained by the former means with water.
