CONNECTOR FOR COAXIAL CABLE, AND HOUSING FOR CONTAINING ELECTRONIC APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a coaxial cable having a release function, from which the coaxial cable hardly comes off. SOLUTION: The connector has a sleeve portion 12 which is inserted between the internal insulator 7a and the external conductor 7c of the coaxial cable 7, a stopper 3 which stops coming off of the coaxial cable 7, and a releaser 5 which releases the stopping action of the stopper 3 against the coming off of the coaxial cable 7, inside its external tube member 2 into which the coaxial cable 7 is inserted. The stopper 3 has a body portion 3a whose central axis is in common with that of the external tube member 2, a chuck portion 3b formed by contracting a nose of the body portion 3a, which holds a circumferential line of the coaxial cable 7, and an engaging portion 3c disposed at a rear portion of the body portion 3a, which is engaged to the external tube member 2. The stopper 3 has an incising which is formed to have elasticity. The stopper 3 thus holds the inserted coaxial cable 7 with the chuck portion 3b and stops its slipping-out. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
