HEAD DRUM ASSEMBLY OF TAPE RECORDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head drum assembly of a tape recorder with enhanced assembing property and reduced cost by improving a preloading method and structure of an existing conventional ball bearing having an inner ring and an outer ring, the assembly having been devised in order to solve a problem involved in a conventional preloading method and structure of a head drum assembly of a tape recorder. SOLUTION: The head drum assembly of the tape recorder having an improved bearing insertion structure comprises: a rotary drum and a stationary drum which are engaged with a shaft one on the other; an upper bearing and a lower bearing which are located between the rotary drum and the shaft one on the other; and a pressurization means for applying pressurization to the upper bearing and the lower bearing, respectively. The pressurization means includes a resilient member located between the upper bearing and the lower bearing and disposed on the external circumferential surface of the shaft so as to upwardly pressurize each of the inner rings.
