SERVICE OFFERING METHOD AND SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service offering method and a service offering system for offering services having a different added value to those which followed a specific procedure when following the specific procedure on the Internet. SOLUTION: When one follows original procedures after logging in a service offering server 30 from a PC terminal 10 and then transmits the address of a portable terminal 20, a password issuing section 32 issues a pass code for utilizing an additional service for recording on a pass code management table 33 along with a contents directory. Conversely, a data control section 31 posts the URL of the service offering server to the portable terminal 20, and posts the pass code to the PC terminal 10. When the PC terminal 10 accesses the service offering server 30 from the portable terminal 20 by utilizing the received URL and transmits the pass code, a pass code certification section 34 certifies the pass code. When the pass code is appropriately certified, the corresponding contents are extracted from a contents accommodation section 40 and are transmitted to the portable terminal 20. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
