EXHAUST EMISSION CONTROL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device capable of remarkably reducing the addition of fuel necessary for controlling the regeneration of a particulate filter. SOLUTION: In this exhaust emission control device provided with the catalyst regeneration type particulate filter 12 on the way of an exhaust pipe 11, and comprising a fuel adding means (fuel injection device 18) for adding the fuel to the exhaust gas 9 at an upstream side of the particulate filter 12, and a control device 15 for outputting the fuel addition command (fuel injection signal 18a) to the fuel adding means when it is necessary to burn and eliminate the captured particulate and to regenerate the particulate filter 12, a car speed sensor 20 detecting a car speed and outputting a car speed signal 20a toward the control device 15 is mounted, and the new fuel addition command is not output to the control device under a condition that an average car speed per a specific time on the basis of the car speed signal 20a of the car speed sensor 20, is less than a set value.
