Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a temperature increase of a rotating shaft arranged in a crushing section of a plastic volume reduction machine. SOLUTION: The plastic volume reduction machine 1 is equipped with a crushing section 2 for crushing foamed plastics and a compression section 5 for compressing the crushed foamed plastics. In the crushing section 2, crushing arms 9 for crushing foamed plastics and a hollow rotating shaft 8 equipped with a screw blade 10 for transferring the crushed foamed plastics to the side of the compression section 5 are arranged.
